Journaling is really helpful for healing because it is a way to explore your thoughts and feelings, and it can feel like a huge release to get them out onto paper- it can feel like the same thoughts continually repeat
You want to turn away, to bury your head in the sand. You want to numb the pain, to fight it somehow but you can’t. You must gather your strength. You must look that grief in the eye and say, “I am ready for you.”
